Marianne is a passionate sommelier eager to share her expertise and love for wine, beer, and spirits.
Her passion for food and wine led her to study sommelier training at George Brown College in Toronto. Graduating with distinction from the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers and the Court of Master Sommeliers, she also completed the intermediate level of WSET. At the same time, she undertook the Professional Fromager program to master the art of food and wine pairing.
In Toronto, Marianne enriched her experience by working for a renowned wine import agency, supporting marketing with content creation for social media, product launches, and advertising campaigns. She also gave lectures and webinars on wine and food pairing across Canada while working as a sommelier in a fine dining restaurant in the heart of the city. Back in Montreal, Marianne continues to dazzle food enthusiasts as a sommelier in a refined dining establishment.
A passionate traveler, Marianne explores Europe to discover local culinary culture, people, and especially vineyards and their terroirs. Her curiosity has also led her to visit distilleries in Scotland and the United States, and she never misses an opportunity to explore new microbreweries. Her favourite trip: two weeks in Franconia, Germany. Whether it’s wine, beer, spirits, or food and wine pairings, Marianne conveys her passion and enthusiasm for tasting while sharing her knowledge.
