Marie-Michèle Grenier
Sommelier - Host
Marie-Michèle has been working in the restaurant industry for over fifteen years. It is through these years that her interest in wines developed, and quickly turned into a passion.
After studying Social Science in university and gaining some work experience in the field, she decided to take the leap and pursue studies in sommelier training to earn her diploma from the Centre de formation professionnelle 24-Juin in Sherbrooke. She then completed a brief internship at the Ritz-Carlton in Montreal, which sparked her desire to make sommelier work the center of her life. There, she made exciting connections, developed her sense of professionalism, and honed the rigor of the profession. As an Epicurean, she particularly enjoys the social aspect of wine. For her, it is a source of memories and memorable moments with unique people.
She loves traveling and discovering the world through wine. Marie-Michèle has been involved in several wine-related projects. She has been a columnist for various media outlets, including La Voix de l’Est, and has collaborated for a few years on books by sommelier Nadia Fournier. Now a co-owner of the restaurant Capiche in Drummondville, she aims to continue sharing her passion with all her clients through her wine list.
