Marie-Michèle Grenier

Sommelier - Host

Marie-Michèle has been in the restaurant business for more than a decade. It is through these years that her interest in wines has grown and then quickly turned into passion.

After university studies in human ressources and some work experience in this field, she decided to make the leap and undertake studies in sommellerie in order to obtain her diploma from the Sherbrooke Centre de formation professionnelle 24-Juin.

She then completed a short internship at the Ritz-Carlton in Montreal, which made her want to put this profession as a sommelier at the center of her life. An epicurean, she particularly likes the unifying side of wine. For her, it’s a source of memories in the company of unique people.

She loves to travel and discover the world through wine. Marie-Michèle is part of several projects surrounding wineries. She is a columnist for various news media, including Voix de l’Est, and works hand in hand with sommelier Nadia Fournier’s book. She also has business start-up training and is working to further develop the sommelier hosting market in Quebec. Her goal is to pass on this passion to all wine lovers by sharing her experiences through various forms of entertainment. Sommelier of the next generation, she wants to continue to evolve in the environment and to learn every day from inspiring people, like her colleagues in Vins au Féminin!

Looking Forward in Hosting with you! Cheers!
