Natalie Richard

Sommelier - Host

Passionate about every aspect of the Art of Living, Natalie has an impressive career that started on the airwaves of Radio-Canada, then as VJ on MusiquePlus and MuchMusic. Music brought her into the world of gastronomy in 2000 when she co-hosts one of the first cooking shows in Quebec “Cuisiner avec Jean Soulard”.

In 2010, she published two cookbooks, then created content for the Blog Gourmand for Chatelaine magazine on top of producing hundreds of cooking videos, filmed in her kitchen and published online. Plus, her inspiring encounters in gastronomy and wine led her to complete the advanced level of the WSET sommelier program and these skills, combined with her culinary experience makes her a remarkable host and expert in wine tasting and any type of food and wine pairing.

As a teacher and speaker, her goal is to share the notions of wines and spirits in the most accessible way, so everyone feels included and inspired. As an author, she published a trilogy of wine travel coffee table books, the best seller Routes des Vins dans le Monde – 50 itinéraires de rêve, in 2019, Routes des Vins en Amérique du Nord, in 2022 and the latest Routes des Vins en Espagne et au Portugal in 2024, all published by Guides Ulysses. As a wine writer, she is published weekly in a syndicated wine column titled Planète Vins.

Organized and adaptable to any situation, she creates tailor-made events and skillfully suggests food and wine (beer or whisky) pairings according to the theme.

Along with team Vins au Féminin, she can offer professional training for both business and restaurants waiting staff.

Passion, expertise and excitement are a sure thing with this amazing woman with a fascinating journey!
