This cider put a spell on me!
One of my favorites this year was the cidery Somnambule which is located in Saint-Henri-de-Levis. Since 2016, Émile Robert and Ève Larouche Laliberté work in the creation and establishment of their cider house. In 2 years, they have created ciders that stand out. Whether natural fermentation ciders or hop ciders, they continue to impress us. Lately, I tasted their apple white, this cider (without effervescence) and I was amazed. Displaying 11% alcohol, this cider is very far from the very sweet ciders of before. It is dry and refreshing, with aromas of apple and flower. It is the ideal accompaniment for Asian dishes and sushi. Their ciders are sold at the cider house and in specialized grocery stores. (Visual production by Michelle Larouche)
